In 2024, as part of the capital’s housing overhaul program, 219 new elevators will be installed in the east of the capital. This was reported at the Moscow Municipal Services Complex.

Most of the lifts will be replaced in Veshnyaki – 28 cabins, and another 26 will be updated in the Golyanovo and Bogorodskoye districts. The leader in the installation of elevators will be a panel building in Alymov Lane (building 4), built in 1999. It has 14 floors and six entrances. Here the craftsmen will replace 12 lifting devices: six cabins each with a lifting capacity of 400 and 630 kilograms.

The longest building in terms of the number of entrances in which elevators will be replaced in the east of Moscow will be the building on Zeleny Prospekt (house 60/35), built in 1969. It has 11 entrances and nine floors. 11 new cabins with a lifting capacity of 400 kilograms will be installed here.

In addition, the oldest building in the Eastern Administrative District, where elevators will be replaced this year, is a brick building built in 1960 on Shcherbakovskaya Street (house 40). It was built according to an individual project in the style of Soviet neoclassicism, has a complex shape and is decorated with a crowning cornice. There are eight entrances and 10 floors. Specialists will replace two elevators with a lifting capacity of 240 and 250 kilograms.
