Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – On 2 May the Holy Father appointed the Rev. Sac. as Bishop of Roseau (Dominica). Kendrick John Forbes, of the clergy of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Nassau (Bahamas), currently Vicar General, Judicial Vicar and Parish Priest of St. Paul in Nassau. SE Mons. Kendrick John Forbes was born on 20 August 1975, in Nassau (Bahamas) and he was ordained a priest on June 11, 2002. He trained at St. Meinrad College Seminary and School of Theology (Indiana, USA), obtaining a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology. He obtained a licentiate in canon law from the Catholic University of America. He has held the following positions: assistant to the parish priest of the cathedral (2002-2004); parish priest of Holy Family, Nassau (2004-2006); since 2004, Judicial Vicar; since 2006, Parish Priest of St. Paul the Apostle, Nassau; from 2012; Chairman of Archdiocesan Review Board; since 2017, Vicar General of Nassau.(EG) (Agenzia Fides 03/05/2024)Share:
