Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova held a meeting with the regions on the results of the implementation of the national project “Culture” in 2023 and the progress of its implementation in the first quarter of this year.

As Tatyana Golikova noted, more than 230 billion rubles are allocated for the implementation of the national project “Culture” in 2019–2024 from all sources of funding.

“By the end of 2023, all planned indicators of the national project “Culture” have been achieved. This year, more than 51 billion rubles are allocated from the federal budget for its implementation. Cash execution for the first three months is already 48.6%, the Deputy Prime Minister said. – The current year of implementation of the national project is the final one. Therefore, it is necessary to concentrate forces and means as much as possible to achieve all planned values of indicators and results in accordance with the concluded agreements and to prevent a slowdown in the fulfillment of undertaken obligations.”

As Tatyana Golikova noted, within the framework of the “Culture” national project, more than 7.5 thousand creative initiatives and projects were supported last year.

“Special attention within the national project is paid to supporting creative people. Thus, last year, 44 thousand creative and managerial personnel completed advanced training courses, 4 thousand of them in new regions. And for the entire period of implementation of the project – 164 thousand people,” said Tatyana Golikova. – 1 thousand of the best cultural workers and 1 thousand of the best cultural institutions in rural areas received state support in the amount of 50 thousand and 100 thousand rubles. Over the entire period of implementation – 3 thousand employees and 3 thousand institutions. During the year, 100 cultural figures received scholarships, and over the entire period – 500 people.”

As part of the national project, active work is underway to equip children’s art schools and colleges with musical instruments, equipment and educational materials. Thus, within a year, 383 educational organizations in 46 regions were equipped. 142 buildings of children’s art schools in 68 regions were reconstructed and overhauled, and over the entire period – 769 schools. As Tatyana Golikova noted, the end result of this work should be an increase in the interest of children and adolescents in mastering educational programs.

Renovation of cultural centers in rural areas continues. Last year, 271 cultural centers were built, reconstructed and overhauled in 73 regions. And over the entire period of project implementation – 1,695 cultural centers.

5 cultural development centers have been built – in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Chechen Republic, the Khabarovsk Territory, the Tula Region and the Republic of Tyva.

230 municipal libraries were re-equipped according to the model standard in 83 regions, of which 12 were modernized in new regions.

“Last year, 87 museums were reconstructed and overhauled. In addition, 393 museums in 86 regions are equipped with new, most modern equipment, of which 77 museums are in new regions,” said Tatyana Golikova. “94 cinema halls in 38 regions have been modernized, thanks to which classics of domestic cinema, as well as new Russian cinema, are available to be shown in cinema halls from the first day of showing throughout the country.”

Over the course of a year, 73 virtual concert halls were created, thanks to which residents of remote settlements gained access to the best concerts and performances. And over the entire period of implementation of the national project, 393 halls have already appeared throughout the country.

The number of hits to digital cultural resources over the year amounted to almost 290 million.
