On April 16, as part of the working visit of the Vietnamese delegation to Moscow, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Education and Personnel Training of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Hoang Minh Son, and Vietnamese students studying at Russian universities.
The meeting was attended by more than 150 Vietnamese students from State University of Education, Moscow Aviation Institute, MADI, REU named after. Plekhanov, Financial University, MSTU named after. Bauman, MPEI, RUDN University, MIPT, Russian State University for the Humanities, Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after. Gubkin, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education named after. Pushkin, RANEPA, MISIS, MIREA, MSLU.
The State University of Management was represented by the head of the International Cooperation Department Igor Polyachenko, the head of the department for the implementation of international projects at UMS Inessa Bogatyreva and Vietnamese students studying in undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate programs, as well as the preparatory faculty.
Nguyen Thi Hai Anh, a 1st year master’s student at the Institute of Marketing, spoke to the delegation and introduced the State University of Management. In her speech, Nguyen Thi Hai Anh also spoke about the fact that she was honored to participate in a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin during the World Youth Festival 2024 in March in Sochi.
The meeting participants discussed the features of studying in Russia for students from Vietnam, the difficulties and problems they face during their studies, as well as the opportunities and prospects of Vietnamese graduates of Russian universities.
Director of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of Vietnam Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Environment of the Ministry of Education of Vietnam Trinh Xuan Hieu and Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of Vietnam Tran Nhat Hoang also spoke to the student audience.
The Deputy Minister of Education of Vietnam especially noted the importance of studying the Russian language.
In the near future, Russian language courses will be launched in Vietnam, together with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, on the basis of the Hanoi branch of the Institute. A.S. Pushkin for students who plan to study at Russian universities.
At the end of the meeting, members of the delegation wished the Vietnamese students success, and the deputy minister gave parting words to remain worthy citizens of Vietnam and noted that diligence in their studies will certainly bring fruitful results.
