Fencing competitions took place as part of the regional student Universiade, in which teams from 7 universities took part. Over the course of two days, the athletes found out who was stronger in the battle with swords, sabers and rapiers.
In the individual competition in epee competition, student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Daria Rubtsova took 3rd place.
In the overall team competition, places were distributed as follows:
1st place – NSTU2nd place – N(U)KOR3rd place – NSU
This is already the sixth bronze award of the Universiade for NSU students!
