Neuchâtel, 29.08.2024 – Between 2021 and 2023, the unemployment rate as defined by the International Labour Office (ILO) increased overall among university graduates, from 2.7% to 3.2%. One year after graduating in 2022, 3.9% of master’s degree holders from a university of applied sciences (HEU) and 3.4% of bachelor’s degree holders from a university of applied sciences (HES) were unemployed. Entry into professional life was easiest for graduates from universities of teacher training (HEP), of whom only 0.8% were unemployed. These are the main results of the survey of university graduates (EHA) carried out by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) for the 2022 graduate cohort.
