With the support of Bashneft (part of Rosneft), a new multifunctional educational center was opened in the village of Elan-Chishma in the Yermekeyevsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The general education institution with an area of over 2,000 square meters was built within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between Rosneft and the region.
Rosneft implements social projects aimed at creating favorable living conditions in the regions of its presence. Including supporting initiatives in the field of education and upbringing of the younger generation.
The multifunctional educational center was built on the site of an old rural school, which was built 70 years ago. It was located in five wooden buildings, which significantly complicated the learning process and created everyday difficulties for schoolchildren.
The constructed building accommodated three institutions at once: a kindergarten, a comprehensive school and an art school. On the territory of the center, spacious offices, a workshop, a large library, a canteen, and a multifunctional gymnasium, which can easily be transformed into an assembly hall, were built.
The new educational center has become a real point of attraction for people of all ages from the village of Elan-Chishma and other nearby settlements, where about 2 thousand people live. The center is completely autonomous: it has its own modular boiler house and transformer substation. In addition, the adjacent territory has been landscaped – children’s and sports grounds have been equipped, gazebos have been installed, bushes and large trees have been planted.
In total, over 40 projects for the construction and reconstruction of educational institutions have been implemented over the past 5 years within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between Bashkortostan and PJSC NK Rosneft. Among them are: the construction of a multilingual boarding school for 300 children in Neftekamsk, kindergartens in the village of Kushnarenkovo in the Kushnarenkovsky District and in the village of Stary Kurdym in the Tatyshlinsky District, an educational building in the children’s health camp “Orlyonok” in the Ilishevsky District, a school in the village of Raevsky in the Alsheevsky District, and major repairs of the Ufa Forestry College, the oldest secondary specialized educational institution in the capital of Bashkortostan.
