During a working visit to Rostov-on-Don, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko, together with Acting Head of Rosmolodezh Denis Ashirov and Governor Vasily Golubev, familiarized himself with the work of several volunteer facilities.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia spoke with the volunteers and thanked them for their dedication and enthusiasm, which they maintain while carrying out a huge amount of work.
“On the one hand, you are in a quieter place, on the other hand, you bear a huge responsibility and mission. You are doing the most important work for new regions, giving the most valuable thing – your time, an irreplaceable resource. For this, I bow low to you. I am glad that such an all-Russian center for humanitarian aid is located here, in the Rostov Region. Your work is an example of dedication and concern for the future, and I am sure that you, future leaders, will be able to realize your talents and benefit our country,” Dmitry Chernyshenko emphasized.
During the warehouse visit, it was proposed to create a platform for effective aid coordination. It should combine a comprehensive analysis of needs, typical situations and requests, optimize the processes of processing applications, delivery and logistics. This will increase the efficiency of volunteers and guarantee prompt delivery of aid to people.
“I have been here often since the very first day of the unified warehouse’s operation. And I have always seen people here who are sincerely involved in volunteer work. Thank you very much for this! The unity that has developed here, at this center, shows how you can give good. This year in the Rostov Region is the Year of Good Deeds. Based on the results of the year, we will reward the most active ones. I understand that sometimes it is difficult for you. But it is in such situations that people unite, and this allows us to win. Goodness, happiness and, of course, good luck!” Vasily Golubev wished the children.
Since August of this year, humanitarian aid has been collected and sent to the Kursk region. To date, more than 120 tons have already been sent – drinking water, food packages, personal hygiene products, clothing and technical equipment.
“The Federal Agency’s efforts within the Rosmolodezh.Dobro track are aimed at creating and improving opportunities for the comprehensive development of young people as people who are not indifferent to the problems and aspirations of others. Right now, volunteers continue to help eliminate the consequences of attacks on border regions. Their good will is one of the most important values in the youth environment, an example to follow for others. At the same time, the development of volunteer infrastructure today is of great importance in the process of self-realization of young people. Millions of people involved in volunteer activities are already a great result. But more important is civic and human involvement, which today, undoubtedly, is part of the norm for everyone in our country. All this is combined in the younger generation – a commitment to unity in difficult times, mercy, mutual assistance,” Denis Ashirov emphasized.
In Rostov-on-Don, Acting Head of Rosmolodezh Denis Ashirov and Head of the Region Vasily Golubev also showed Dmitry Chernyshenko the regional youth center “DonMolodoy”, which was opened in June this year as part of the Rosmolodezh program “Region for the Young”, implemented on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is the first multifunctional youth attraction point in the region. Lectures, master classes and other activities for young people are held here. Since its opening, almost 80 events have been held here, in which more than five thousand people took part.
The regional platform “Donvolonter” and Rostovpatriotcenter are located on the territory of the center. Let us recall that according to the results of 2023, the work of the Don volunteer community allowed the region to become the leader in the country in the implementation of volunteerism, attracting more than 327 thousand volunteers.
There is also an art space and media center, a multi-format space for student brigades “SO.Zdanie”, a museum of student brigades, coworking spaces, a photo studio, a recording studio, a conference hall, a meeting room and other spaces.
As part of the trip, flowers were laid at the monument to the soldiers of the SVO – graduates of the military training center of the Don State Technical University.
