WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following statement in response to the killing of Hersh Goldberg-Polin by Hamas terrorists:
“My heart breaks for Hersh and his family, who never gave up hope and worked tirelessly to bring him home safely. May God bless their family and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved Hersh.
“This should be yet another reminder to the entire world of the extraordinary evil Hamas terrorists commit on a routine basis.”
