Following an open and demanding selection procedure, the General Directorate of Further Education has appointed Emmanuelle Rossier as the new director of the Cantonal Office for Educational and Professional Guidance (OCOSP).
With a degree in Political Science, a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Management and Analysis of Public Policies (DEAMAP) and a Certificate of Continuing Education in Management of Social Institutions awarded by the University of Geneva, Emmanuelle Rossier has extensive experience in the field of socio-professional integration of young people and adults. She acquired this experience in particular at the Service de prévoyance et d’aides sociales de l’Etat de Vaud where she worked as a FORJAD project manager (training for young adults in difficulty), then as head of the Prevention, Social Support and Integration Unit.
Since 2016, Emmanuelle Rossier has been a member of the management committee of the cooperative society Démarche as head of the PRO Department (Services – Research – Operations) made up of some 150 employees. Previously, Ms. Rossier also worked as an employee at the Federal Statistical Office. Her extensive knowledge of integration and orientation services as well as her expertise in project and team management will enable her to fully assume her new role and work successfully as head of the Cantonal Office for School and Vocational Guidance.
Ms. Rossier will take up her duties on December 1, 2024. The General Directorate of Post-Compulsory Education would like to warmly thank François Pidoux and Maxime Rochat who are acting as interim directors.
