Source: Republic of France in FrenchThe French Republic issued the following statement:

Anticipate your medical trips

From July 12 to August 11, and from August 28 to September 8 for the Paralympic Games, security perimeters are set up as part of the 2024 Olympic Games, in the cities affected by the event.

If you have medical appointments planned during these periods, it is recommended to check the means of getting there and to anticipate your travels. You can contact the establishments concerned and obtain information on these 2 sites:

In Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis, you will need to check access to the most controlled areas (red and gray) and the need to have a digital pass: the Games Pass (QR code). If this is the case, you can request it on the dedicated platform open since May 13, 2024:www.pass-jeux.gouv.fr.

On this platform, you can:

check in which area your appointment is located; check if you need a Games Pass for your trip; know the reasons for access and the travel arrangements and exemptions; prepare your Games Pass application with the list of documents to provide; do your request of Pass Games.

Information for everyone on access to care

The Ministry of Health indicates that the law applicable to international tourists who will need care in France will not be modified during the period of the Olympic Games.

A communications campaign will be deployed during the summer to inform French and foreign patients of how to access care, with the support of regional health agencies (ARS).
