Polytechnicians took part in the international scientific and practical conference “New Uzbekistan” and the international discussion platform “Modern trends in legal education and enlightenment.” The events took place in Andijan within the framework of scientific and educational cooperation between SPbPU and Andijan State Pedagogical Institute.

At the plenary session, representatives of the Higher School of Law and Forensic Engineering presented scientific reports:

“Anti-corruption education in the CIS” (Director of the Higher School, Associate Professor Dmitry Mokhorov); “On the organization of training and advanced training of personnel in the field of forensic activities in the CIS member states” (Associate Professor Vladimir Kochemirovsky); “Digital technologies in expertology” (senior teacher Pavel Menshikov).

The international conference was attended by SPbPU students, whose articles will be published in an international scientific collection.

Polytechnicians conducted a master class “Application of engineering and technical skills in the training of modern lawyers” and an open lecture “Anti-corruption education in the national security system.”

The experts also presented a joint monograph “Theoretical and Practical Foundations of Anti-Corruption Education,” reviewed in Russia and Uzbekistan.

Rector of the Andijan State Pedagogical Institute, Doctor of Historical Sciences Bakhtiyor Rasulov noted: Today, the presidents of Russia and Uzbekistan indicated new horizons for cooperation between friendly peoples and our interaction will only develop and bear new fruits. Peter the Great Polytechnic University, as a leading innovative university, promotes multidisciplinary research – a landmark for world science. Interaction with polytechnics is always a professional scientific and educational environment that opens up tremendous opportunities. In this regard, I sincerely want to express my gratitude to the rector of the Polytechnic University, Andrei Rudsky, for his invaluable contribution to the development of international relations in the CIS, the creation of a team of professional scientists and leading world researchers.

In Uzbekistan, polytechnicians met with the rector of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agricultural Technologies Takhirjon Sultanov, deans and heads of departments of the social and humanitarian cycle. Representatives of the Polytechnic University spoke about the features of training lawyers at a technical university and presented the master’s program “Legal Regulation in the Sphere of Energy and Natural Resources,” which aroused the interest of colleagues. This predetermined the issues of future scientific and educational interaction in the field of jurisprudence.

The communication with the delegation of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University named after. I. Ya. Yakovleva, led by the rector of the university, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Igor Kozhanov. Colleagues discussed issues of pedagogical excellence, career guidance education, and the need for digitalization of humanitarian and technical skills.

Director of the Higher School of Law and Forensic Engineering Dmitry Mokhorov said: The integration of academic and educational relations with universities in Uzbekistan is historically predetermined and conditioned by a unified scientific and technological development system. It is easy for us to understand each other, work together and together build the economic well-being of fraternal states.
