A new industrial cluster will appear near the village of Troitskoye in the settlement of Shchapovsky. It will unite several technology parks and enterprises where they will produce dairy, meat, bakery, confectionery and other products. The Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy spoke about this Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Since 2022, clusters of photonics and microelectronics, electric vehicle manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, as well as the Federal Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems have been opened in the city.

“Today we continue to develop the cluster approach in the work of the industrial sector of the capital and are forming three more clusters – quantum technologies, construction and food. In particular, to create a food cluster, the city will provide 95.9 hectares of land, on which modern enterprises for the production of food products will be created as part of large-scale investment projects. The production facilities will produce dairy, confectionery, meat and other food products, as well as grow herbs and vegetables on vertical farms. The implementation of projects will create over 11.4 thousand jobs,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

Since 2016, entrepreneurs who are constructing important facilities for the city can receive plots for their construction without bidding as part of the implementation of large-scale investment projects. Since 2022, Moscow has been providing land to investors at a rate of one ruble per year to localize production in the capital.

“To create a food cluster, the city has already provided investors with three land plots with an area of almost 63 hectares at a preferential rate. The lease agreements were concluded for five years, during which entrepreneurs must build industrial buildings with a total area of over 400 thousand square meters,” added the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital’s Department of City Property

Maxim Gaman.

For example, the site was provided to a company that will build a modern food industrial technology park, where 3.5 thousand people will be able to find work. It is planned that production of meat products, dairy, confectionery products, as well as ready-made meals for retail chains and restaurants will be located here. The concept of the enterprise will allow the use of vertical farms for growing leafy greens, herbs, salads, and confectionery flowers.

Another manufacturer will build a complex where they can simultaneously produce dairy, confectionery, bakery products, snacks, food ingredients, semi-finished meat products, canned fruits and vegetables, drinks and packaging containers. The planned output volume is 514 thousand tons of products per year. In addition, greens and berries will be grown. Three thousand people will be able to find work here.

Another company will build a modern bakery to produce bread, croissants and puff pastries, including long-term storage. Up to 200 tons of products will be produced per day. The enterprise will be able to employ 200 people.

In addition, the city plans to provide land plots to two more investors. One of them will create a complex for the production of ready-made meals. It will produce highly prepared semi-finished products, food for railway transport, as well as ready-made food for restaurants, hotels and catering. The planned production volume is 36.5 thousand tons of products per year. Over 900 jobs will be created at this facility.

One of the leading meat processing plants will build a single distribution center with a portion cutting workshop. It will create jobs for 1.5 thousand people. Today, the company supplies its products to 70 regions of the country in addition to Moscow, so its work is extremely important for ensuring food security.

Previously, Sergei Sobyanin also reportedthat a large construction cluster is being formed near the village of Sportbaza. Compact placement will allow companies to work in cooperation, and therefore speed up and reduce the cost of production processes, while increasing the volume of production of reinforced concrete and other building structures.
