An inefficiently used site in Nagatino-Sadovniki is being reorganized under the integrated territorial development program (CTD). As a result of the project, at least 480 jobs will be created,” said Vladimir Efimov.

The site has good transport accessibility and is located next to the Kolomenskaya metro station. Currently, the territory houses warehouses, car repair shops, tire shops, a car wash, offices, an unused building and other outdated facilities.

“As part of the redevelopment on the site, it is planned to build 59.76 thousand square meters of comfortable housing for the purposes of the renovation program and 11.26 thousand square meters of public and business real estate, including offices, retail facilities, cafes, bank branches and fitness centers,” added Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the City Property Department

Head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy Sergey Levkin clarified that in the Nagatino-Sadovniki area it is planned to resettle about five thousand residents of 22 houses under the renovation program. In total, 378 buildings in the Southern Administrative District are included in the renovation program, housing 82.3 thousand citizens.

According to the program of integrated development of territories, multifunctional city neighborhoods are created, where roads, comfortable housing and all the necessary infrastructure are designed on the site of former industrial zones and inefficiently used areas. Currently in Moscow there are 236 KRT projects at various stages of implementation with a total area of more than 3.1 thousand hectares.
