The 2024 Arctic Winter Games in the Mat-Su Valley concluded on Saturday. Over the past week, athletes from Alaska, Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, Nunavik (Quebec), Northern Alberta, Kalaallit Nunaat and Sápmi competed against each other. others in 20 different winter sports.

It is with great pride that Canada will host the next Arctic Winter Games in 2026, which will once again be presented in Whitehorse. The Games will welcome athletes from across the Arctic region, while showcasing the history, cultures and traditions of Canada’s North.
