Bern, 29.02.2024 – In collaboration with the Swiss Accident Prevention Bureau (BPA), Tchibo is recalling the shoulder hot water bottles corresponding to reference numbers 673660 and 672590. There is a risk of burns. Consumers affected will receive a refund of the purchase price.

What hazards are associated with the product in question?

The correct and safe way to fill hot water bottles is described in detail in the instructions for use. There is, however, a risk of contact with hot water, and consequent burns. .

Which products are affected?

This applies to Tchibo brand shoulder hot water bottles, part numbers 673660 and 672590 and order numbers 191306 and 190562, sold from December 18, 2023…

What should consumers do?

Consumers are requested to fill the hot water bottle in accordance with the instructions for use, or to return it to Tchibo for a refund of the purchase price. To do so, please contact Tchibo customer service (toll-free number).
