McHenry Honors Congressional Award Winner

Mooresville, February 5, 2024

MOORESVILLE – On Thursday, Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) presented Truett Wolf—a student at Lake Norman High School—with his Bronze and Silver Congressional Award medals.

I commend Truett for his dedication to bettering himself through this program and congratulate him on this achievement,” said Congressman McHenry. “It was great to spend time with Truett and his parents, hearing more about his volunteer work for the First Tee, his commitment to honing his chess skills, and his rigorous academic pursuits. I am proud for Truett to represent the Tenth District and the Mooresville community and look forward to hearing more about his continued success.”

The Congressional Award was established in 1979 to recognize initiative, service, and achievement in young people. Interested students can learn more about The Congressional Award program by clicking here.
