From July to September this year, Muscovites renting land from the city for individual housing construction bought almost 30 plots for 40 percent of the cadastral value. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.
The city supports individual housing construction, giving owners of private houses the opportunity to buy rental plots where such real estate is located at a 60 percent discount from the cadastral value. This measure can be used from 2020.
“In just three months of this year, citizens renting capital land for individual housing construction bought 29 plots with an area of 3.36 hectares for 40 percent of the cadastral value. Thanks to this, they saved 79 million rubles,” said Vladimir Efimov.
You can buy rented land if private residential buildings are built on it and are registered as property. The type of permitted use must be individual construction, personal farming, and gardening.

The remaining properties with an area of 0.3 hectares were acquired in the east, northwest and southeast of the city,” noted the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the City Property Department
Maxim Gaman.
