During their three-day visit Washington D.C., MEPs met with members of the Senate, representatives of the Department of Health and Human Services, Pan-American Health Organisation and multiple agencies and institutes responsible for the improvement of public health in the U.S.
During the visit, EU lawmakers and their interlocutors discussed a wide range of current health policy topics, including, non-communicable diseases, shortages of medicines and actions tackling protection of mental health.
