A decree published in the Official Journal changes the rules of the main phase of Parcoursup, the pre-registration platform for post-baccalaureate studies. From July 15, candidates who are still on the waiting lists of establishments they have selected will have to rank their wishes in order of priority, so that they are kept on these lists. This modification does not concern the additional phase of Parcoursup wishes, open since June 23, 2022.
From July 15, 2022, if you have not yet received a proposal for admission to establishments that you selected during the main phase on Parcoursup, the pre-registration platform for post-baccalaureate studies, you will have to classify these establishments in order of priority, in order to be kept on their waiting list, according to a decree published in the Official Journal of June 23, 2022, and an additional decree published on the same day.
You will have four days, until July 18 inclusive, to establish this ranking.
These establishments will be able to automatically send you admission proposals, depending on the places available to them, due to the withdrawal of other candidates, or their lack of response within the time limits.
When you receive an admission proposal from an establishment from July 19, you have 24 hours to respond to this proposal. Applications made for establishments that you have ranked after this one in the priority list will be deleted.
The obligation to confirm the wishes kept pending, at the beginning of July, is on the other hand abolished.
This possibility of classification already exists, in the form of an option on Parcoursup, but it is little used. It now becomes mandatory, at the very end of the main phase of the Parcoursup calendar .
This development does not concern the additional phase of Parcoursup, which started on June 23, 2022 and will end on September 14, 2022 for the submission of wishes. This phase allows you to make up to 10 new wishes for courses that we did not request in the main phase, and which still have places available. Courses will be able to send admission proposals until September 16, 2022 inclusive.
This complementary phase is not exclusive of wishes awaiting the main phase. It is also open to registered candidates who have not confirmed their wishes by April 8, or to unregistered candidates who can then register.
Please note: the summary data of the 2021 admissions procedure for each course is made available at Opendata . Data for previous years can be accessed at data.esr.gouv.fr
Note: if you received an admission proposal during the main phase that you accepted, you can nevertheless ask to keep all or part of your wishes pending. If you have received several proposals, you can accept one but you must renounce the others, and also ask to keep all or part of your other wishes pending.
