Prime Minister at the National Congress of Youth Dialogue: young people tend to be primarily sensitive to justice21.05.2022
The National Congress of Youth Dialogue was held in Warsaw. It was attended by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. The Congress provided an opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between the young generation and people who directly influence the issues of youth in Poland. The head of the Polish government answered young people’s questions relating to, among other things, the economy, foreign policy and social policy.

Development of a dialogue between young people and decision-makers
The National Congress of Youth Dialogue is a place where it is possible to meet people involved in social issues and active in non-governmental organisations. Participants took part in the event aimed to develop a dialogue between the young generation and people who have a direct impact on issues of the youth. The Congress encourages young individuals to become involved in civic and social activities. Those who attended it participated in panel discussions, debates and workshops.
Numerous questions to the head of the Polish government
An important part of the meeting provided young people with an opportunity to ask Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki a number of questions. They raised topics from different areas of politics, economy, international relations, social policy or current issues that affect each of us. The Prime Minister replied to all questions. Each attendee who asked a question received a comprehensive answer. The entire recording of the meeting with the head of the Polish government is available on Facebook.
EU strategy for view exchange
The EU Youth Strategy has introduced a mechanism that allows an exchange of views. The Strategy focuses on engaging and connecting young people with politicians. The initiative involving meetings is addressed to all young people, including those who are not particularly active in civic life.
“I am counting on Minister Piotr Mazurek to involve youth councils at many stages to provide young people with a strong voice. I would like to hear this strong voice of youth councils,” said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
The honorary patronage was granted by the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, and the Government Plenipotentiary for Youth Policy, Piotr Mazurek.
