In particular, due to price increases for materials and the subsequent decision to install a photovoltaic system on the roof of the accommodation, an additional loan of CHF 280,000 had to be obtained at the community meeting on June 20, 2022. Municipal councilor Thomas Anderegg provided information about the current state of affairs regarding the development of the center. Delivery is scheduled for November 2022. He also announced that the planning of a new community center on the meadow behind the village bus stop is progressing. A corresponding project planning loan will be submitted to the residents’ community meeting on June 20, 2022. If everything goes smoothly, the new parish hall is expected to be ready for occupancy in 2027. Municipal councilor Dany Gygli informed, among other things, about the forthcoming renovation of the Matten school building. This is a monument of local importance and has been under cantonal protection since autumn 2021. The project loan will be obtained at the community meeting on December 12, 2022.
