Neuchâtel, May 9th, 2022 – For the majority of graduates of higher vocational education (graduation year 2016), the professional situation in 2020 has changed, at least temporarily, as a result of the measures taken to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. 45% of them worked in the home office, 17% of the salaried graduates were affected by short-time work and for around a third of the self-employed the Covid 19 pandemic led to a reduction in earned income and a reduction in work orders. These are the most important results from the new publication of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
