MIL-OSI Russia: Russian divisions of the CSTO peacekeeping forces in Kazakhstan loaded military equipment into BTA aircraft and took off from Alma-Ata

Today, 15 Il-76 aircraft and three An-124s of the military transport aviation (VTA) of the Russian Aerospace Forces will deliver the personnel and equipment of the Airborne Forces units that have completed tasks as part of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO to airfields in the Ivanovo and Moscow regions.

Upon arrival, the units will make marches on standard equipment to their permanent deployment points.

Earlier, the advanced units of Russian paratroopers from the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO, who performed the tasks of protecting socially significant objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, having flown four Il-76 aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces from the Almaty airfield to the Severny airfield (Ivanovo), returned home.

On January 14, having completed the loading of equipment and personnel, the peacekeeping contingents from Armenia, Belarus and Tajikistan returned to their homeland on Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The unit of peacekeepers of the Kyrgyz Republic returned to the point of permanent deployment, having made a march on standard equipment under their own power.

The return of all peacekeepers to their permanent deployment points is planned to be completed by January 19.
