What is the status of Africa’s green recovery plans? To what extent do these plans capture or reflect key features and recommendations? What are the various support programmes available to accelerate the implementation of green recovery plans?

These questions form the impetus of the webinar series titled Mainstreaming Natural Capital in Africa’s post-Covid-19 Development Agenda Natural Capital in the African Development Finance (NC4-ADF) Programme.

The African Union’s Green Recovery Action Plan lays out the ambition for African countries to tackle the combined challenges of Covid-19 recovery and climate change. The action plan presents critical actions in priority sectors such as climate finance, renewable energy, nature-based solutions, resilient agriculture and cities, land use and biodiversity.

The event will bring together environmental, social and governance analysts, environmental and social managers, investment managers, due diligence specialists, risk managers, analysts, and portfolio managers.
