MIL-OSI Russia: The Russian Ministry of Defense presented the results of the work of the Commission on innovative projects and technologies in 2021

As part of the final meeting, a thematic exposition was deployed, at which enterprises and research organizations presented 12 innovative developments carried out in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on an initiative basis.

Among the presented developments, experts noted the training and training complex based on the unmanned boat-laboratory “Makarovets”, which was proactively developed to improve the quality of the educational process of cadets.

The innovation is a sample of a marine multi-purpose, modular robotic complex, which incorporates the key technologies of an autonomous marine robotic system with interchangeable payloads.

Among the military-technical innovations, the projects of the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (hereinafter – MTUCI) were presented for the first time in the following areas: “wireless underwater laser communications”, “technical vision and video informatics”, “quantum communications”.

Young MTUCI scientists presented to the experts of the Russian Ministry of Defense a universal hardware and software complex for assessing the main technical parameters of cameras of applied television systems.

One of the modifications of the complex is the NONIUS sample, designed to measure the main parameters and characteristics of television cameras, as well as to test them in order to determine their suitability for operation under specified conditions.

MTUCI representatives also familiarized the meeting participants with the 34.8 km interuniversity quantum network and with the scientific and educational complex for studying quantum key distribution. The goal of this project is to develop protocols, models and terminal devices to ensure 100% security in the communication line based on the fundamental laws of quantum physics.

The attention of potential customers was also attracted by a promising prototype of a closed breathing apparatus for performing underwater technical work at depths of up to 100 meters without using deep-sea diving complexes. The device allows you to control the composition of the gaseous medium in the breathing circuit, which provides a significant reduction in the decompression time of the diver.

The presented developments are an example of interaction between consumers and developers of weapons, military and special equipment on a proactive basis in order to minimize the timing of the introduction of proactive developments.
