At the Dobrynskoye airfield in the Vladimir region, scheduled training parachute jumps were held for the personnel of the rescue units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

The training was attended by 69 rescuers from the Center for high risk rescue operations “Leader”, Noginsk and Tula rescue centers.

The rescuers were landing from a height of 1200 meters. Before the employee himself descended to the ground, a load was dropped from a height of 500-600 meters – a barrel of sand, indicating the place of landing.

The head of the airborne service of the Leader Center, Igor Kuzaev, noted that those specialists who already have about 100-200 parachute jumps behind their backs are allowed to rescue operations related to the landing of personnel in hard-to-reach areas. Moreover, the initial training of rescuers-paratroopers takes place on a round parachute system of the D-6 type of series 4, after which training begins on a guided parachute of the “wing” type.

Such trainings, in accordance with the professional training plan, take place at least four times a year. The purpose of the training is to improve the skills of flight crews and rescuers when conducting jumps. Flight crews practice the landing skills, and rescuers train the precision of landing and control of the circular canopy in the air.
