About 1,400 citizens of the Primorsky Territory will be called up for military service as part of the autumn conscription. The first dispatch of teams from the assembly point of the military commissariat of the region to the troops is scheduled for the first half of November.
The main feature of the current conscription is still strict adherence to sanitary measures aimed at combating coronavirus infection. All employees of military commissariats working with conscripts were vaccinated in advance, and some of them were revaccinated.
As in the previous year, exhaustive measures were taken to preserve the health of conscripts at the assembly point of the region and district commissariats. A three-level system of barriers has been created, which implies regular testing and separation of flows of arriving citizens. For persons who are entitled to a deferral from conscription, separate reception hours are provided. According to the military commissar of the Primorsky Territory, Colonel Nikolai Trigubko, the current autumn draft will be held taking into account changes in federal legislation. Citizens who study will be invited only to the meeting of the draft board and will not pass the medical board.
The military registration and enlistment offices of the region prepared in advance the required number of medical masks and disinfectant solutions. The gathering places for recruits are equipped with bactericidal irradiators, medical control posts, and other measures have been taken to prevent the disease and timely identify persons with signs of coronavirus infection.
It should be noted that citizens with secondary vocational and higher education can serve two years on a contract instead of a year on conscription.
Traditionally, at the assembly point, conscripts will be provided with a uniform according to their type and type of troops, personal hygiene items, a bank card for receiving cash allowances and food for the period of travel to the duty station.
