WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, Congresswoman Kat Cammack (FL-03) joined House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, fellow House colleagues, and guests for an immigration roundtable. The discussion focused on the border crisis, House Democrats’ proposals for mass amnesty in the reconciliation bill, and the dangerous consequences of reforming our immigration system through one-party rule.
Roundtable attendees included Representatives John Katko (NY-24), Jim Jordan (OH-04), Tony Gonzalez (TX-23), John Rutherford (FL-04), Troy Nehls (TX-22), and guests National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd, Cochise, AZ County Sheriff Mark Dannels, and Uvalde, TX Mayor Don McLaughlin.
“We have had enough fentanyl come across the border just this year to kill every man, woman, and child in the state of Florida 16 times over,” Rep. Cammack said. “The [reconciliation] bill is not only going to tax and spend us down the drain, this is going to make us more vulnerable than ever.”
