The post-constructivist building was erected by the architect Boris Ulinich.

By the end of November in the Danilovsky district they plan to complete overhaul houses built in 1934. This was reported in the municipal economy complex. The building is located at 5 Shukhova Street.

The house of variable number of storeys (from five to six floors) in the post-constructivist style was built according to the project of the architect Boris Ulinich for the workers of the I.V. Stalin (later – the plant named after I.A.Likhachev, ZIL).

The L-shaped building is decorated with a number of pilasters, a crowning cornice is located along the perimeter of the facade, and the four lower floors are separated from the upper part by a profiled cornice. The courtyard can be accessed through two double arches. From the side of Gorodskaya Street, the building is connected to another residential building built in 1900.

As part of the regional overhaul program, specialists have updated the hot and cold water supply, heat supply and sewerage systems, and replaced the power supply networks. Also, half of the basements and entrances have been repaired, the rest of the work is being completed. There are six of them in the house.

The facade and roof of the house were overhauled last year. The façade was cleaned, plastered and painted in the historic light yellow color, highlighting the decorative elements in a milky color. During the repair of the roof, the attic was insulated with fire-resistant basalt wool, and the rafters were impregnated with fire retardant.
