In the Tver formation of military transport aviation, a planned revaccination of personnel and their family members began.

More than 300 military personnel who have approached the date of re-vaccination will be revaccinated against the coronavirus infection COVID-19.

Revaccination is carried out strictly after examination by a doctor and without the presence of symptoms of the disease.

Military personnel and civilian personnel of the compound and military units, who received a full course of vaccine at least six months ago, have been involved in re-vaccination.

First of all, revaccination is carried out to the command and flight personnel, as well as to the duty forces of formations and military units.

As the acting head of the medical service of the military transport aviation division, captain Andrei Viter, noted, “The first wave of vaccination showed a high level of protection against the virus, and now we need to re-protect the personnel and maintain the already formed collective immunity to coronavirus infection.”

Revaccination is carried out by the domestic two-component drug “Gam-COVID-Vak” (“Sputnik V”) on a voluntary basis.
