MIL-OSI Russia: The driver mechanics of the ZVO in the Smolensk region took a course in extreme driving as part of the control check

MIL OSI Translation. Region: Russian Federation –

Mechanics-drivers of T-72B3 tanks and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles of the Western Military District (ZVO) took a course in extreme driving in conditions close to combat at a military circuit in the Smolensk region.

As part of the convoys and one by one, the servicemen in vehicles passed a special route equipped with natural and artificial obstacles – an anti-tank ditch, a track bridge, ravines, mine-explosive obstacles, a slope, steep ascents and descents.

After passing the route, the servicemen began driving on a conditional battlefield, where smoke bombs, explosives and blank ammunition were used as imitation tools.

In total, about 500 military personnel of the ZVO combined arms army and about 100 units of military and special equipment were involved in the training event.
