In the city of Lubikovko (Poland), the competitions of the regional championship of the International Council of Military Sports (CISM) in orienteering have come to an end. The national team of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which consisted exclusively of CSKA athletes, won 7 awards of various denominations at the tournament – 4 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
Captain Svetlana Mironova became the best in the middle distance, sharing first place with the representative of Poland. The winners of two bronze medals in the same discipline were the captain of the RF Armed Forces Tatyana Ryabkina and captain Yulia Novikova, who also showed the same result.
In a similar discipline among men, Lieutenant of the RF Armed Forces Dmitry Tsvetkov finished the race with the second result.
In the women’s and men’s relay races, there were no equal to Russian military athletes.
Among women, the Russian team consisting of captain Tatyana Ryabkina, captain Yulia Novikova and captain Svetlana Mironova bypassed both Polish teams.
The men’s team consisting of Warrant Officer Dmitry Nakonechny, Captain Andrey Khramov and Lieutenant Dmitry Tsvetkov took first place, leaving behind the national teams of Poland and Lithuania.
According to the results of the regional championship of the International Council of Military Sports in orienteering, the combined team of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation took the first team place. The Polish Armed Forces team has the second result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces team has the third.
A total of 68 athletes from seven countries took part in the competition: Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Turkey, France and Ukraine.
