The most professional, resourceful, courageous and courageous employees of the country’s emergency department met on the Sevastopol land to fight for the title of the best. On October 3, the XVIII Championship in service and applied sport “All-around Rescuers of the EMERCOM of Russia” was solemnly opened in the City-Hero. The large-scale event brought together representatives of rescue teams from all federal districts of our state: 20 teams will demonstrate their skills at the stages of the competition.
The Championship opening ceremony took place on the territory of the Sapun-Gora Memorial Complex. On the square of historically significant urban height, the participants of the Championship were greeted by Lieutenant General Igor Kutrovsky, Director of the Department of Rescue Formations of the EMERCOM of Russia: “These competitions will help us develop new approaches to rescue technologies. Exchange the richest experience that each of you has. After all, by and large, we are faced with “seasoned” and many skilled professionals in their field. I wish you an uncompromising and fair fight. I am sure that great deeds and great victories await us! “
On October 3, the first competitions in the “Cross Relay” distance have already taken place – the winners were presented with awards.
The mood of the opening ceremony of the Championship was set by musical compositions performed by a brass band and soloists of Sevastopol cultural institutions. At the end of the solemn event, during a sightseeing tour, the honored guests got acquainted with the sights of Sapun-Gora and laid flowers at the monuments, honoring the memory of the defenders of the Motherland.
The XVIII Championship in service and applied sports “All-around rescuers of the EMERCOM of Russia” will be held in Sevastopol until October 12. At the stages of the competition, the teams will demonstrate the conduct of search and rescue operations in the natural environment and in the water area, as well as actions in case of a man-made emergency.
