Within the framework of the competition, the participants performed parachute jumps for accuracy in the individual standings and as part of a team. Jumps were made from a height of 1000 meters from a Mi-8AMTSh helicopter.

After separating from the aircraft in order to accurately land “at zero”, a mark in a circle with a diameter of 2 cm, athletes-skydivers had to determine the direction, speed, wind strength and other conditions affecting the accuracy of landing.

Athletes of all national teams demonstrated their skills and showed excellent results, but the athletes-parachutists of the 309 center for special parachute training of the Airborne Forces, the second intermediate place among the paratroopers of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Mountain Formation, took the third place, the hosts of the championship – the athletes – paratroopers of the Ivanovo Guards airborne unit.

In total, about 140 athletes take part in the competition in 16 teams representing the Central Sports Club of the Army (CSKA), all military districts, the Aerospace Forces (VKS), the Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces), as well as the DOSAAF of Russia.
