MIL-OSI China: China will face South Korea in FIBA Women’s Asia Cup 2021 as roster confirmed

China will play against South Korea on Oct. 2 in the semifinals of the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup 2021 following an unstoppable and impressive performance that placed the top-ranked Chinese team in its well-deserved spot in the semifinals.
On Thursday, South Korea beat Chinese Taipei and moved to the semifinals, but it was not an easy task for the South Korean team that had a close win of 80-74.
Australia as well had to work hard and earned its ticket to the semifinals after its win over New Zealand, 72-61.
The top performer in the South Korean team was guard Hyejin Park who had 22 points, four rebounds and four assists.
For the Australian team, the top performer was guard Samantha Whitcomb with 29 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
In the classification game of 7-8, the Philippines beat India 74-70 and ranked seventh in the tournaments.
Also on Oct. 2, Japan will play against Australia for qualification to the final, while Chinese Taipei will play against New Zealand in the classification game of 5-6.
