MIL OSI Translation. Region: Russian Federation –
The congress is taking place in Moscow from September 28 to October 1.
I would like to welcome you to the VIII Infrastructure Congress “Russian Week of Public-Private Partnerships”.
The Institute for Public-Private Partnership is one of the youngest in our country. In a short period of its existence, it proved that it is a promising mechanism for effective interaction between the state and business in the creation and maintenance of transport, engineering, social, cultural infrastructure, as well as the exchange of experience, competencies and best management practices.
To support private investment, the Government has developed a whole range of federal co-financing measures. This has significantly expanded the possibilities of the regions, which can receive budget subsidies for the creation of new schools, university campuses, tourism and sports facilities. It also provides for the use of budget loans and infrastructure bonds to implement PPP projects.
Today the state is actively involved in the digital transformation of all sectors of the national economy. The use of high technologies makes it possible to optimize many processes. A striking example of this is the Rosinfra platform, developed with the support of VEB.RF, which makes it possible to work on investment projects online, makes interaction of all interested parties prompt and convenient. It is important that there are more such examples.
For many years, the PPP Week has been a unique platform for dialogue between representatives of government authorities, business and the expert community, where opinions and interesting ideas are exchanged. I am sure that during the meetings you will be able to find answers to pressing questions, as well as formulate specific proposals that will give a new impetus to the development of public-private partnership in our country.
I wish all participants productive work.
