The event was attended by Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of Russia Ilya Denisov and adviser to the head of EMERCOM of Russia Andrey Merzlikin.
“These competitions are of great help in improving the professional training of our fire fighters and leadership. Faster, higher, stronger – this Olympic slogan, like no other, reflects the aspects that firefighters must possess in order to successfully fight fire, and a special strip best of all reveals this potential, “Ilya Denisov said welcoming the participants of the competition.

On the second day, the participants of the professional competition performed pull-ups on the bar and passed the 10×10 shuttle run standards.
On the last day of the competition, the competitors passed a special test – passing a distance with exercises while simultaneously solving operational and tactical problems.
The exercise consisted of 10 elements. In full combat gear, the competitor sequentially moved the tire with a sledgehammer, ran a “snake”, turned the heavy tire over a distance of 5 meters, opened the metal door with a gas cutter, eliminated the conventional fire, pulled a stretcher with a dummy out of the tunnel with a rope, after which he himself crossed the tunnel, climbed on a retractable fire escape to the window of the 3rd floor of the training tower and from the ground with a rope lifted two rolls of fire hoses.
For the chiefs of the guards, who in their professional activities at a certain stage manage the forces and means in the fires, the distance included special express tests to determine the speed of the decision-making reaction.
