The Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on September 22 supported a draft law envisaging a liability for forgery of documents related to preventive vaccinations.

The draft law, in particular, stipulates for :
a fine of UAH 17,000 to UAH 34,000 or imprisonment for up to 2 years for persons who knowingly use forged documents;
a fine of up to UAH 68,000 or imprisonment for up to 2 years with deprivation of the right to hold the position for 1-3 years for medical workers who knowingly enter false information about vaccinations;
a fine of up to UAH 170,000 or imprisonment for up to 3 years for forging such documents for distribution.
The Prime Minister expressed hope that the Parliament will support this socially important initiative.
