Bishop of Dushanbe and Tajikistan, Vladyka Pavel, congratulated the believers of the Russian servicemen of the 201st military base stationed in Tajikistan on the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos.

A festive service was held in the Iberian military church, which was attended by believing military personnel, members of their families, as well as civilian personnel of the unit. In his speech to the parishioners, Bishop Pavel noted that the Russian soldier at all times was famous for his fighting spirit, his readiness to defend the Fatherland with all his might, as well as his determination to come to the rescue of his comrades, whatever the cost. Vladyka also blessed the servicemen and sprinkled them with holy water. After congratulating the servicemen, Bishop Pavel held a festive divine service in the military church with the assistant to the commander of the military base for work with believing servicemen, Priest Roman Chebonenko.
