Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong, Political Commissar of the Vietnam People’s Navy, expressed his joy and pride in the achievements in fighting COVID-19 pandemic in Hai Phong city, where the Vietnam People’s Navy is located.

* On the same day, Saigon Joint Stock Commercial Bank (SCB) presented five mobile vaccination vehicles and VND1 billion in cash to Hai Phong’s Covid-19 Prevention and Control Fund.

Area 11’s Director of SCB Kieu Quang Vinh shared that this is the cooperation and contribution of businesses accompanying Hai Phong city in the prevention and control of the epidemic.

Vice Chairman of Hai Phong city People’s Committee Le Khac Nam sincerely thanked businesses for their cooperation in epidemic prevention and control. This is a meaningful gift, especially for the coming time, as Hai Phong city is set to receive a large amount of Covid-19 vaccine.

The city will deliver the above five vaccination vehicles to five medical units for immediate deployment in this vaccination round, urgently taking advantage of the golden opportunity to spread vaccination to a wider range of people, thus bringing life back to the new normal situation.

* These days, in Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh) is spreading the story of the beautiful gesture of husband and wife Dang Van Nghia and Tran Lan Huong in Duc Hoa Village, Duc Ninh Commune, on presenting medical equipment worth VND2 billion to support the province in fighting against COVID-19 epidemic.

Accordingly, on September 21, the Quang Binh Department of Health received a donated of 5,000 SARS-COV2 Antigen Rapid Test Kit purchased by husband and wife Dang Van Nghia and Tran Lan Huong. In addition, some equipment, including 4 ventilators, 2 monitors, 2 electric syringes, and 50 oxygen bottles, was given by this kind young couple, and is also being transferred to Quang Binh. The total amount of money to purchase the medical equipment is VND2 billion.
