On Tuesday, September 21, in the morning, the Vice President and Chancellor will accompany President Duque in his speech before the UN General Assembly, whose central theme is post-COVID-19 economic recovery, from a sustainable perspective .
At noon local time, the senior official will participate in the High Level Ministerial Meeting to safeguard the achievements of 20 years of international commitments in Afghanistan, in order to continue supporting the future of Afghan girls and women, and their access to the education.
Likewise, together with the Colombian Head of State, he will hold meetings with the Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres; with the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg; with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, as well as with regional leaders.
