Bilateral cooperation in all areas, in particular on the economic front, will be strengthened.
The President of the Republic and the Prime Minister have expressed their serious concerns about the situation in Afghanistan. The authorities in power should sever their links with international terrorism, allow humanitarian organizations to operate throughout the country and respect the human rights of Afghan women and men. Evacuation operations were to continue unhindered.
They will maintain regular exchanges to coordinate upstream of the next deadlines, in particular the G20 and COP 26 on the climate, and will continue their joint actions against the pandemic. The head of state welcomed the decision to resume deliveries of vaccines to COVAX.
