Moscow has already concluded 29 lease agreements for non-residential premises under this program.
One more participant joined the city program “Educational object for a ruble”. It was an investor who, since last year, has rented a two-story panel building with an area of 967.4 square meters from the capital – he opened a private kindergarten there.
“In Moscow, 29 contracts for the lease of non-residential premises have been concluded under the program“ Object of education for a ruble ”. 20 objects have already been transferred to a preferential rate, which allows entrepreneurs to save almost 200 million rubles annually on rent, “said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.
The building was built in 1975, it is located at the address: Sumskaya proezd, house 2a. The investor fulfilled all the conditions of the program and therefore switched to a preferential rental rate.
“We have signed a 49-year lease with the investor at a rate of 8.64 million rubles per year. After the implementation of all the requirements of the program “Educational object for the ruble”, including the implementation of repair work and the fulfillment of conditions for the implementation of educational activities, the investor switched to a preferential rental rate – one ruble per square meter per year. The amount of its annual rent, based on the area of the rented premises, will amount to 967.4 rubles “, – said the Minister of the Moscow Government, the head of the Moscow City Property Department Maxim Gaman.
Non-residential premises and buildings that can be rented from the city under the program “Objects of education for the ruble” are put up at a special auction. Individuals and legal entities, as well as individual entrepreneurs can take part in them.
The program has been implemented in the capital since 2013. To switch to a preferential rate, tenants must fulfill certain conditions: apply for a license for educational activities, bring the object into the appropriate form and open an institution. It is necessary to confirm the fulfillment of the conditions annually.
