Colorfully decorated hospitable tables, on which there were compositions of vegetables and fruits, an atmospheric photo zone, an impromptu scene in autumn colors – all this created a wonderful mood and a feeling of a holiday of a beautiful and fabulous time.

The celebration was opened by the chairman of the jury – the head of the University of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, Major General of the Internal Service Alexander Krymov. In his speech, he stressed that the festival is not designed for competition, but for team building, the emergence and strengthening of good university traditions.

The harvest festival was attended not only by cadets, but also by representatives of all departments and structural divisions of the university. The participants of the competition surprised the jury and the audience a lot with their imagination, creative inventions, culinary and dacha “achievements”. What was not on the richly and lavishly decorated tables – these were fancifully decorated pumpkins, watermelons and zucchini, sweet honey, apples, jams, homemade pickles, compositions of flowers and vegetables, and apparently invisibly pies with different fillings.

In addition, the participants prepared their creative performances: songs, dances, poems, theatrical performances, and the staff of the department of combat and tactical training demonstrated their demonstration performances. But, as it turned out, the most striking performance was the performance of the cadets of the specialization “Organization of educational work”, who showed their interpretation of the fairy tale “Turnip” in a modern way. After they were staged, there was no end to the applause, so the jury deservedly awarded the artists a victory in the “Autumn Melody” nomination – for the best creative performance.

The jury members evaluated the artistry of the participants, their creativity, the originality of the idea and, most importantly, the taste of numerous pies, jams and pickles.
