In the next five years, it is planned to put about 200 medical institutions in order.

The polyclinic reconstruction program will be expanded. The list of 137 medical facilities, which are planned to be put in order at the first stage, will now add another 60 buildings. Thus, half of the capital’s outpatient fund will be renewed in five years. Sergei Sobyanin wrote about this in my blog.

The Moscow Mayor recalled that three dozen city polyclinics have already been reconstructed under this program. On average, repairs take six to 12 months. During this time, specialists completely renew the engineering systems of the building, create a comfortable space for patients and doctors.

“As a matter of fact, we are creating new polyclinics – completely new, much better than they were 30-50 years ago. With different equipment, a new level of comfort. And most importantly, with the maximum availability of doctors. People come to new polyclinics and say: we had no idea that this could be so, ”Sergei Sobyanin said.

Since 2011, 104 healthcare facilities have been built in Moscow, including 50 polyclinics.

Since the beginning of 2021, five healthcare facilities have been commissioned, including the infectious disease building of the medical center in Kommunarka, polyclinics in Nagatinsky Zaton and the Shchapovsky settlement, an ambulance substation in the Moskovsky settlement, as well as facilities of the All-Russian State Center for the Quality and Standardization of Medicines for Animals and Feed.

Now the Moscow Government is implementing a large-scale program for the construction of about one million square meters of medical institutions, including the facilities of the medical center in Kommunarka, the Scientific and Practical Center named after A.S. Loginov, the International Medical Cluster in Skolkovo, the infectious diseases clinical hospital No. 1, the ambulance corps of a number of city hospitals, as well as about 30 polyclinics.
