On the territory of the North-Western Administrative District, they plan to build the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya metro line, complete the reconstruction of Volokolamskoe highway, modernize clinics, open a flagship center of public services and create new jobs.
Improvement of transport accessibility, new residential buildings, reconstruction and repair of clinics, improvement of parks – all these are among the plans for the development of districts in the north-west of the capital. About it in my blog written by Sergei Sobyanin.
Metro stations, roads and junctions
More than 500 thousand Muscovites now live in Strogino, Mitino, Yuzhny Tushino and Pokrovsky-Streshnev. Despite the fact that the North-Western Administrative District (SZAO) is well equipped with the classic underground and new surface metro, the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya and Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya lines operate in overload mode.
“Therefore, we recently made a final decision – we will build the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya metro line. A new line with eight stations will run from Moscow City to Lipovaya Roscha station outside the Moscow Ring Road. The first section from Delovoy Tsentr to Shelepikha has already been built and is still operating as part of the Big Circle Metro Line. We will start building the second section from Shelepikha along Lipovaya Roshcha in 2022. Preparatory work is currently underway at the site of the future stations, ”said the Moscow Mayor.
From the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya line it will be possible to make six transfers – to the Bolshaya Ring Line, the Moscow Central Circle, the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya, Solntsevskaya and Filevskaya metro lines, as well as MCD-1. In the future, it may be extended to Rublevo-Arkhangelskoye outside the Moscow Ring Road and to the center to ZIL, where it will connect with the Biryulevskaya metro line.
Among the important tasks for the development of transport infrastructure is the construction of roads and interchanges.
“As of today, six out of seven stages of reconstruction of Volokolamskoye Highway have been fully completed. An overpass has been built near the Tushinskaya metro station, the overpasses on the MCC and the interchange on the Moscow Ring Road have been reconstructed, ”the Moscow Mayor added, expressing the hope that all work would be completed by the end of this year and thus the long-term reconstruction of Volokolamskoye Highway will be finally completed.
Renovation program, parks and courtyards
Residents of 14 houses in the village of Novobrattsevsky in Mitino are planning to relocate to new buildings. New settlers are already moving into the first house built under the renovation program.
Even more work is to be done in Yuzhny Tushino. There, 18.3 thousand residents of 111 houses will prepare for the move. New houses are being built on Skhodnenskaya and Lodochnaya streets and in Svetlogorskiy proezd. The keys to the first apartments here will be issued in 2022.
In Pokrovsky-Streshnevo, 48 houses are included in the renovation program. The resettlement is scheduled to begin in 2024.
Parks and other recreational areas are being put in order in the district. Thus, the landscape park “Mitino”, the Kirovskaya and Stroginskaya floodplains, the beach “Khimki-2” have already been landscaped.
“The next step is the improvement of a huge green area – the Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo park. We plan to fulfill it as carefully as possible in relation to nature. The main task of the improvement will be to preserve the ecosystem of the park with its age-old pines, small rivers, ponds and small low-lying bogs, ”wrote Sergei Sobyanin.
They plan to equip children’s and sports grounds there. The improvement project will be submitted for preliminary discussion with residents.
The improvement of local parks, streets and courtyards will continue in the district.
It’s different: medical care
Even before the start of the pandemic, a complete modernization of the infectious diseases service in Moscow was planned. In old infectious diseases hospitals, patients with similar infections could lie in the same common ward. And if someone needed a complex study or an urgent operation, he was transported to a regular hospital.
“Everything should be different in new infectious diseases hospitals. Therefore, the old buildings of the infectious diseases clinical hospital No. 1 on Volokolamskoe highway had to be demolished. And in their place we are building a completely new hospital. First, patients will be accommodated in Meltzer boxes – isolated wards with a special ventilation system. No common dining rooms, showers, toilets. Secondly, IKB No. 1 will have its own clinical laboratory of the fourth biosafety level (BSL-4), which is the highest level of epidemiological protection and is suitable for working with the most dangerous biomaterials, ”stressed Sergei Sobyanin.
All analyzes will be carried out on site, without transportation to other laboratory centers. The same approach has been implemented in terms of research and operations. Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital No. 1 will have its own diagnostic department and operating unit.
Sergey Sobyanin also added that a modern obstetric hospital for women with infectious diseases will be created in IKB No. 1. There are very few such births in Moscow. Therefore, it is possible to organize them as safely as possible – in individual delivery boxes. The construction of the infectious diseases hospital is planned to be completed next year.
“Another healthcare facility under construction is a new polyclinic on Tvardovskogo Street in Strogino. The seven-storey building will house a therapeutic, X-ray diagnostic department, a trauma center, a medical rehabilitation department, including physiotherapy and physiotherapy rooms, ”the Moscow Mayor said.
According to him, in addition to general practitioners, a urologist, an otorhinolaryngologist, an ophthalmologist, a coloproctologist, a surgeon, an orthopedist, a neurologist, a cardiologist, an endocrinologist, a pulmonologist, and an allergist will be receiving appointments. Rooms for daily monitoring of blood pressure, ECG, ultrasound, and studies of the functions of external respiration will open. The new clinic will receive its first patients in 2023.
Flagship center of public services, fairs and festival venues
The plans for the next year are the opening of the flagship center of public services “My Documents” in the shopping center “Kaleidoscope” near the metro station “Skhodnenskaya”. There you can get many additional services, such as registering a car. In addition, it will be open until 22:00.
One of the best festival venues in Moscow has been opened in Mitino. Residents of South Tushino also have their own fair on Svoboda Street. In 2022, they are going to open a fair on Tallinskaya Street in Strogino.
Almost 130 thousand jobs have been created in Strogino, Mitino, Yuzhny Tushino and Pokrovsky-Streshnev. This is not enough for a population of 500,000, of which about half are able-bodied adults. Therefore, the plans are to create about 72 thousand new jobs.
“The largest project will be implemented in Pokrovsky-Streshnevo at the former Tushinsky airfield. It is planned to build 4.5 million square meters of real estate here. In addition to housing, these are business centers, shopping and entertainment complexes, communal infrastructure facilities, a fire station, a transport hub, ”the Moscow Mayor said.
In total, 40 thousand new jobs will be created within the framework of this project.
In Strogino, they are going to reorganize the communal storage area within the boundaries of the Moscow Ring Road, Marshal Zhukov Avenue and Tvardovskogo Street. This is another 18 thousand jobs. Several urban development projects are planned to be implemented in Mitino, in particular, near the village of Rozhdestveno and the village of Novobrattsevsky. As a result, the region will receive over 10 thousand new jobs.
