Major repairs are underway in buildings with a total area of about 10 thousand square meters. They are located at the following addresses: Belovezhskaya street, 45 (branch number 5 of the clinical diagnostic center number 4), Mosfilmovskaya street, house 29a (branch number 2 of the city polyclinic number 209), Vernadsky avenue, house 30 (branch number 1 of the city polyclinic number 8 ). The work began at different times, and now polyclinics are at different stages of readiness. Some will open soon, others in early 2022.
Prior to this, the buildings were in an unsatisfactory condition. Now they change all engineering systems, elevators, windows and doors, equip new ventilation and air conditioning systems, insulate facades and make high-quality finishing of premises. Polyclinics will adapt for the convenience of people with limited mobility and equip with access systems.
The work may differ depending on the tasks of each medical institution.
“For example, in the city polyclinic No. 8 (branch No. 1), an electric light therapy room with an area of more than 45 square meters is being equipped. Since it will use various types of electric current for treatment, special materials will be used in the decoration of the premises that do not generate static electricity, ”added Denis Lebedev.
During the overhaul, two day hospitals with eight wards and 16 beds will be equipped in branch No. 5 of the clinical diagnostic center No. 4 and in branch No. 2 of the city polyclinic No. 209. Their area will be almost 280 square meters.
In the Western District, three medical facilities have already been repaired according to the new standard. The renovated branch 2 of polyclinic 195, children’s polyclinic 130 and branch 194 of the adult clinic № 212 began to admit patients. hospital for four wards.
The territories near the renovated buildings have also been improved. Convenient paths were laid there, benches, urns and navigation steles were installed. A shed with a parking lot for strollers appeared near the children’s clinic, additional paths were also made and places for recreation with a playground were organized.
