Sakha (Yakutia), representatives of the Government Commission on Emergency Response visited the settlements of Frunze and Yergelekh of the Namsk District, where wildfires are active in their immediate vicinity. Round-the-clock monitoring of the edge of the fire, suppression of small and medium-sized fires is carried out. For several days, about 30 kilometers of the edge of a forest fire have been worked out, ”the Minister noted.

In the near future, depending on weather conditions, an additional departmental Mi-26 helicopter with a spillway will be sent to the area. Unmanned aerial systems are used to monitor the forest fire situation. In addition, there are 3 tank trucks operating at the site of the fire, from which a main line has been laid to the mineralized strip. The airmobile detachment of the Russian Emergencies Ministry will remain in the Namsky region until the threat is completely removed and the situation stabilizes.

As part of his work in the region, E. Zinichev took part in a meeting on the elimination of the consequences of fires and the organization of preventive measures to prevent the spread of fire to settlements under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yuri Trutnev.

According to the Minister, after the opening of the second runway at the Yakutsk airport, additional aviation will be sent to the region to strengthen the air group. Currently, 34 units of aviation equipment are involved in extinguishing. In total, about 5 thousand people and more than 760 people were involved in extinguishing fires in Yakutia. technology.

Currently, 172 wildfires are active on the territory of Yakutia, 17 were liquidated per day.

In the settlements of Byas-Kyuel, Tastakh, Kyrykyi, Byariye, Ytyk-Kyuel, Udarnik, Ergelekh, Edey, Orto-Surt, Melzhekhsi and Frunze, specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia are working to expand the mineralized bands and extinguish individual fires.
