In 2021, the Fête de la science celebrates its 30th anniversary. This anniversary edition will take place from October 1 to 11 in mainland France and New Caledonia, and from November 5 to 22 in Corsica, overseas and internationally.

For 30 years, the Fête de la science has been an unmissable event for all audiences: families, schools, students, amateurs or science enthusiasts. Each year, it brings together more than one million visitors around 6,000 free events in 2,500 places throughout France.

In recent months, the health crisis has demonstrated the indispensable role of science in analyzing, understanding and effectively responding to the Covid-19 epidemic. The 2021 edition of the festival thus stands out, more than ever, as the decisive meeting point for bringing science and society together and developing an essential bond of trust.
